Stacey McBride-Irby is the creator of the new "So In Style" (SIS) by Barbie dolls, a new African-American line that features fuller lips and has every chocolate skin tone with hairstyles from straight to curly. As the doll creator for Mattel, Ms. McBride is also responsible for creating the background story for each of the dolls. Thirteen years ago her goal was not to create dolls, but as a fashion design student she was asked to design a Barbie outfit. Her story is truly inspirational.Workshops
